Mark has made Telluride, CO his home since 1976. Many years of hands on building and construction work led to a change in vocation. Mark spent the past 25 years as a self taught and self employed 3D Architectural Visualization Artist. He is a co-founder and retired guide of Telluride Helitrax. Mark stay’s active in many seasonal outdoor pursuits and is a striving amateur keyboard player.
Our home is very special to us. Mark purchased the house in 1985. Since that time Mark has invested countless hours and expense re-modeling and upgrading the home to it’s current condition. 99% of the improvements have been done by Mark including designing and constructing the addition, carpentry, plumbing, tile, flooring, lighting, electrical, painting, landscaping and more. Karen has spent many hours sourcing and selecting the finishes and furnishing throughout the house.
We are a team and do everything from handling all the bookings and questions to cleaning and maintenance. When booking your visit you will not have to deal with the hassles of large property management companies that remotely oversee dozens of units.

Flexible check-in and check-out times
Weekly yard and garden maintenance is provided.
Snow shoveling of walkways and parking is provided.
Weekly house cleaning can be arranged for an additional cost.
A rental agreement will be provided and must be signed before receiving access to our home.
Guests under 21 years old are generally not allowed but may be allowed with pre approval by us.
House Rules
- Please do not wear your outside shoes inside the house. This is a mountain environment and the dirt, grit, snow, ice, salts and etc are very damaging if tracked into the house. Bring a pair of shoes /slippers dedicated for wearing inside the house.
- No parties or events allowed.
- No smoking allowed.
- No pets allowed (special exceptions may be considered).
- No unregistered guests allowed.
- Please respect the neighbors and do not play music outside or otherwise create excessive noise or impacts.
- Please set the Nest thermostat to Eco if you will be out for more that an hour or two (instructions below).
- Please take care of the furnishings. Do not use metal utensils on the non stick pots and pans. Do not put anything made of wood in the dishwasher.
- Please take the trash out before you leave.
- No illegal substances allowed on the premises.
- Downloading illegal or copyrighted content via our Wifi network is not allowed.
- Making any configuration, hardware or software changes to our internet infrastructure is not allowed.
SKI AND SNOWBOARD EQUIPMENT
- If entering/exiting with ski equipment please enter from the rear (alley) door.
- Use the rear utility and ski storage room for boot, ski and snowboard storage.
- The alley can become icy and difficult to walk along under some conditions. If using the front door is necessary, leave skis and snowboards outside and remove boots immediately inside the door. After removing boots carry equipment thru the house to the rear ski and snow board equipment storage room.
- Alternately, leave skis and boards outside the front door and secure with locking cable if desired. Do not lean skis or snowboards up against outside walls of the house.
- Do not walk thru the house with ski boots or any other boots or shoes that have been worn outside.
- Do not lean skis up against the inside or outside walls of the house. They leave marks and damage the walls finish.
